“Joseph’s Coat” Troy Presbyterian Church, 11021 Troy Pike, Versailles, Kentucky. Fire Gate 125
The biblical story of Joseph’s coat of many colors is a popular story told within the context of the patriarchal fathers of the Hebrew faith, and is also a part of our Christian heritage. In children’s Bibles the story of Joseph typically includes a picture of Joseph in a coat of vivid blue, green, red, yellow and perhaps a shade of purple. Just as Joseph’s coat of many colors was a unique story in ancient Hebrew history we believe that Troy’s colorful history (organized in 1874, built in 1875) is also a unique story to be told. Our ups and downs, ins and outs all blend together to create a colorful and vibrant tapestry of hope and confidence in God through the years past, present and future.
